| 2nd last day at work! |

its 4.06pm now and im at work! 2nd last day alr!! :):) im happy to be able to get out of here but then agn, i knw tat i probably wont be able to get a job tat pays me this well. but i'll look forward to more opportunities, like the one at resorts world. over this past mth, i had a taste of wad office life is and how the working crowd go about with their busy schedule everyday. it is tough but i guess everyone just have to adapt to it. the working hours are long while the breaks are too short.
im quite happy tat i got a relatively easy job scope and a relatively easy going supervisor. this whole month have been tiring although there is not much brainwork here.but it was a gd experience!
now at least i knw wad office life is like and i do not want to face it agn until i officially enter the working world after uni.
anw, i met xunmin at starhub!! hahaa one more vj girl trapped here. but i think her colleagues are frienlier and nicer than mine though. and her table is so cool! the location is much better than mine also!
anw, i accepted one more tuition assignment at pasir ris and i guess tats enough alr:) although the pay is not exactly v high cox i teach pri sch only but at least i save on transport fare! hate travelling to starhub everyday and see my value in the ezlink card dropping like nobody's business.
im really bored now and was reading my old entries in my old blog. (really so bored tats why will do these kind of things) i think my way of blogging last time was really childish. hahaha. but it brought back memories of vj. LT1 is so damn nice now i so jealouszxzxzxzzzz:( mass dance tmr but i guess it wont be as fun as the previous two years when we were STUDENTS of vj and not alumni. but ohwell, just go and hang ard.
okay the program i need to use is accessible now, off to work! :) cant believe tat i would rather have loads of work to do than just slacking ard trying to act busy. |

its the end of the month alr!! cant believed tat i have been at starhub for ONE MONTH already. amazing. hahaha and i think the rate i do work has increased too! haha my efficency level has increased!! esp for the case of printing bar codes. :) lol. the past wk have been quite okay because there were things for me to do each day! and i didnt have to approach ppl to ask if they needed help! one more wk to go before i can officially say goodbye to tat place! :)
went to chinatown with my mother ytd and i ate loads of free stuff ! the stallholders kept asking ppl to sample their snacks and they really give u alot of things!! i was so full until i didnt even have to eat lunch! but the tibits were nice!!! hahaha and wads more its FREE! i made my mother help me take more food cox it was so paiseh for me to keep taking from them right. but the things there are quite ex now though, i should go agn when cny is nearing or just after cny, when they are clearing their stocks! anyone want to go with me?:)
started on tuition alr and it was quite alright! although i dislike teaching english cox its so difficult to explain! used to dislike pri sch eng and now must face it agn! sad.
i think i have been spending alot these days!! i need to revert back to my $2 lunch soon!!

| the start of another week! |

went back to work on friday! regina and i had our usual breaks in between the boring pile of work but i think friday was great! firstly cox it was singpost day and i found out that there was astons in singpost! for all those who do not knw, there's an astons express stall in the foodcourt in singpost. haha so we had blackpepper chicken!:) really look forward to fridays because its the end of the wk and because there's the lunch bus to singpost.
and secondly, i had a larger amt of work to do !! most ppl would probably say tat no work to do is better than having loads of work to do. but idk la.. maybe cox i was sick of trying to act busy when im actually not. so anw, i actually concentrated on work in the aftn after lunch!! haha half of the work was things tat i volunteered to do but at least it keeps me busy! :) haven completed the work (i did it purposely) so i'll probably be slightly busier this wk! yay :)
thirdly, because i had a 2 day break, the wk seemed to pass faster! i think its good to have a break in between the 5 working days! i think most ppl would be happier that way eh.
the weekends were kind of disappointing because the gathering and the shopping trip was cancelled. but nvm! at least i had loads of time to sleep. haha.
this will be my second last wk at starhub! dont exactly hate my job now cox i think i have gotten used to it so ya, sometimes i wonder if quitting was a gd idea. but nvm, since its alr settled i shall start looking for another job soon!
i haven been keeping track of my expenses but i just dont like having to top up my card so frequently !! :( haizz but at least the rebates make me slightly happier. and now i understand why i see loads of adults having a large amt of money in their ezlink, BECAUSE ITS SO IRRITATING TO KEEP HAVING TO TOP IT UP. even with $2.00 plusplus they also dont let u take mrt. what is this.one day i will try to add 100dollars in one go. hahahahaha |

went back to vj with aly today.i think it feels different being an ex-student.i see the ppl there walking to the classrooms, walking from the classrooms to the canteen, studying in the canteen, gathering at the treehouse etc. it reminds me of all the times where i was part of this group of ppl.i do not exactly miss having to go for lectures & tutorials or having to put up with the not so nice canteen, but when i saw all these agn today.. it somehow makes me feel sad tat my two years in vj are over. haha just laugh la. sounds stupid i knw.
but yes i do miss sch. i miss hanging ard with frens everyday, unlike adults in offices. i miss not having to decide wad to wear everyday and i miss the after sch hangouts. sigh.
today is yet another happy day because i didnt go to work! so glad tat i do not have to feel so awkward being the only one trying to squeeze out of the train at paya lebar. haha. on the way to sch today, the ppl whom i saw on the streets and on the bus were mostly older ppl,maids,housewives. feel much happier taking public transport with them as compared to working adults. hhaaha anw! the malay stall was closed today so i couldnt even get to see the yummy stingray.lol but at least i managed to satisfy my craving for butter squids!! :):):):)
walked parkway agn after so long! :):):) i want to go to siglap,airport,ecp!! haha
met chongning after tat at tamp where we witnessed a small accident. omg although it was nothing serious (hopefully) but it was really scary cox we were just behind tat old lady. we witnessed the whole thing but we didnt knw wad to do!! luckily the security guard came over and the adults helped. omg it was scary cox we saw every single thing!hopefully the old lady is fine now!

back to work tmr:( but its okay because its a friday!! and also one day nearer to the last day of work at starhub!:) and im probably getting my pay for the last two wks tmr !! :) |

i think im crazy. im sick yet im happy. cox.... i got 2days mc !! hahaha now u knw how much i dont like my job. it just funny u knw, it feels happier than skipping school. lol except tat this one i must produce mc but sch dont need. so need waste money to see a doctor.
anw, work has been as mundane as it was since it started. but luckily i got to knw more ppl from the other room so it isnt tat bad anymore. got to knw regina and we face the same situation!! so its easy to complain bout how boring and horrible the work is cox she understands!! lol. frequent toliet breaks and walks to the pantry keeps me awake.
i cant wait for 5feb. 5feb 5feb 5feb!! but i think i will miss writing timesheets and getting the sense of satisfaction when i see the money coming in! haha. there is this big wallpaper tat i have to pass by everyday to get to the office. it has the word HAPPY with each letter representing something ( something good). haha but im not happy when im there!!
weekend shopping makes me happy! but i think whatever money tat i saved in the weekdays are all spent during the weekends. how sad.finally went to bugis st last sunday after a long long while. it was so so crowded as expected but i think it was a fruitful trip! more shopping trips in the coming weekends!! :):):)

| january without school, but a whole new experience |

i think i learned alot over the past few days. its a brand new experience which i think will definitely help me in future. shall not elaborate on it, just keep them all in my heart. haha
i think making new frens really depends on who the other person is. sometimes its just so easy but sometimes it sucks. some of my frens used to say that im a quiet person and wont take the initiative to start conversations. so they may not like going out/taking bus with me (especially if we're not gd frens) because of the awkward silences.
yeah i admit i was like that but recently i got loads of opportunities to take the first step:) but its hard to keep thinking of new topics especially if the other person isnt very responsive. finally understand how some of my frens used to feel.
anw, sometimes when i see students hanging out at shopping centres, fast food restaurants etc, i will envy them. looking at them makes me think of the past when i was just like them! hahaha although the studying part sucks but i think school is fun. This is the first time since 12 years ago where i do not have to wake up so early in the morning and then squeeze with people on the bus. hahaha tats one thing to be happy about, but really la, i finally understand why almost every adult says tat school life is so so much better than working life.
i miss school:( (excluding the studying)
squeezing with the office crowd every morning is a pain. wads worse is tat i get off at a stop where very little ppl get off. so i have to squeeze through loads of ppl and not just follow everyone out.get quite pissed sometimes but no choice:( i feel so sad for the adults, they have to do this everyday and still need to pay so much for such discomfort (adult fare suckss!!)
i dont regret accepting this job although i complain bout it every single day, because it really allow me to see how the working world is, esp office life. i see how ppl rush to get seats during lunchtime, i see how ppl use umbrella to reserve their seats, i see how they are so kiasu tat they queue up way long before the shuttle service come just to get seats on the bus. im sure everyone has heard of how kiasu singaporeans are, but u will really understand why they have to do this only when u are experiencing the same situation. one thing i must learn from these office ppl is.. to be able to do OT on one night and then still reach early in the morning the nxt day, working as hard as ever.
time now to look for another job. hopefully i can find smth tat i like:) |

31dec 2009! happy? im not. cox its the last day that i can take bus& mrt for just 45cents!
anw, this year was rather tiring academically. after A's when i was packing all the notes, i couldnt believe tat i actually read through so many papers! its really alot! but got the sense of accomplishment la :) really hope tat all the effort i put in will not go to waste!
this year was rather significant in a way. got loads of things to be thankful for. i rmbr dreading the start of 2009 because it was going to be a busy and horrible year and from the start, i was wishing tat the year will end quickly. and now.. its finally here!
im glad that the A's are over but i will miss vj :(
im glad that i completed piano grade 8 but piano lessons has been a part of me since 10 years ago and sometimes tuesday feels weird.
im glad that i got a long long break now but work is seriously boring
im glad that i dont have to wake up so early for sch everyday but i will nv have a chance to wear a sch uniform agn (is this something to be sad about? hahaha)
the saddest thing is the transport. i better start remembering to tap my card when going down the bus!!
the last year in VJ was okay la:) will miss everything there except the toilets and the food. oh but i miss the stingray there and the western stall rice.
As for 08S32, i think we were great. esp at the later half of the year, one of our most common topic was whether to pon lessons or not. esp lectures. haha but i think the ultimate was the gp lesson where only 4 ppl turned up! cool or not. haha we dont have many class photos and probably only one successful class outing(lunch). but once we left the restaurant after the lunch, everyone (in their cliques) went their own ways. omg i thought 4B was bad enough but this is worse. hahaha but i still like the class. from PAE till now, im glad that im in this class. even though we dont have outings, even though we dont celebrate bdays as a class, but there are still classmates whom i am glad to have met/ met agn after so many years. special thanks to the group of girls! :)
thanks for all the study sessions, camwhoring sessions, times where we tried to plan outings but always failed and all the random things we did tgt.
the floorball girls and the interact exco are other groups of ppl tat i need to thank. my cca moments were enjoyable!:)
thanks to the floorball girls who always try to organise outings which i didnt turn up for most:( enjoyed the tough trngs with u all although it feels like it was a long time ago.
i think the most memorable part of the exco this yr is the installation. enjoyed giving each other presents and taking photos tgt as a whole exco:) enjoyed all the random moments and not forgetting the successful camp tat we organised!:)
now for a group of ppl whom i will not say who! hahaha. although im not close to them, but they have been a great company. enjoyed the moments tgt and although i doubt we will keep in contact, but hopefully we'll still rmbr each other 10 years later!:)
to other vj, ahs & pri sch friends, here's a big thank you to all of u! :)
i hope 2010 will be a better year although it brings new challenges and of course.. the Alvl results. but hopefully it will be a good year! :) |

okay this was taken exactly a year ago (22dec 08). was my first sleepover ! hahaha so memorable. lol one year really passed so quickly leh. can still rmbr all the fun we had exchanging presents and how we stayed up till 4am trying to watch twilight but failed in the end. i can also rmbr the small little puzzle we fixed and the crazy photos we took using aly's laptop. oh oh and i also tried milo dinosaur for the first time because of them ! :) nice nice. i want to drink tat agnnn...
happy birthday alyssa tan! too bad you're in US or else we can go play sparklers at your rooftop.
anw, the KL trip was okay but the weather wasnt good. my shoes gave way on the second day but luckily got new shoes to spare.stayed in 5 star hotel this time round leh ! hahaha but i only knew bout it when we got there. nice breakfast everyday but the hotel very crowded. and i think we wont be going back to KL for shopping anytime soon cox sian alr.
back to reality now must continue finding job. siannn..

it has been 2 weeks since the end of A's. not tat im complaining but i think my life now is so boring.besides meeting frens, there seems to be nothing else to do. at home is use computer watch dramas. go out with frens = eat, talk, walk, shop, and maybe get tricked into going to eat laksa. lol.
the past two weeks was fun though considering the fact tat i seldom get to meet these ppl because everyone was so busy with sch. and i realised we forgot to take pictures during the 2012 move outing. omg all 6 girls turned up leh... this only happens once in a blue moon. HAHA.
went to batam last weekend. first time there but i dont think i want to go back there agn though. so boring. the only good thing is that the things there are cheap.going KL this weekend. hopefully can buy more things :) okay now for photos!
these people came up with such an amazing plan to trick me just cox i was late.haiz.

a "failed" exco outing cox less than half turned up. haha but i think its my fault cox i went to choose such a special day where loads of ppl would be busy dressing up. but anw, we had fun viewing the body world exhibit and learning loads of bio related stuff ! they should have this exhibit before Alvls! after tat we went to watch "an education" and yet agn, the movie should have came out before A's. LOL why is our outing so educational. hahaha hopefully we can have another outing soon :)

my legs are tired. my whole body is tired.
we stayed back in sch to take photos for one hr plusplus ! haha we acted like we were tourists visiting the sch, must take photos at significant areas. the worse thing is that they took a damn long video of me :( but nvm, last day of sch alr la.last day wearing the sch uniform, last day of exams in the school hall ! haha :)
off to vivo after tat for lunch and window shopping. and then followed by marina sq for nicer food and free starbucks drink. because we were so free, we walked around ALOT for the whole day until my legs very tired.
its tiring to think of wad to write so im gonna stop. more outings coming up and byebye im tired. do a proper post soon ! :) |

i guessed that ethical concerns of GMO will come out, but it didnt. but luckily the essay wasnt hard :) luckily mx toh asked me bout the insulin production the day before the exam, luckily i had time to finish the paper BEFORE the time was up. but now i think bio mcq will be hard. isnt the situation of bio similar to chem? and since the chem mcq was so freaking hard (i was panicking throughout the entire hour), dont u think bio mcq will be hard too?
anw, bio paper3 was.. relatively okay except for some questions which i didnt have much to write. oh and i was just so stunned by the first qn on purine and pyrimidine. and then i thought of wad evonne asked me the day before the exam. she asked "are u gonna study apps only or core syllabus too?" and i just happily said apps. but who would expect purines and pyrimidines to come out eh?
didnt have the mood to prepare for chem mcq after the bio paper cox i felt so sian. and mxtoh was just weird the whole day. haha first time (and probably the last time ) seeing her do such funny things. chem mcq was HARD! although we predicted it to be hard, but i didnt expect it to turn out this way. i was panicking more than i did for prelims and somemore this is ALVLS. omg. cannnot just anyhow choose and not worry (like how i did for prelims since it was prelims and not the real thing) cox this IS the real thing. haiz but i didnt have enough time so...
anw! after the paper, we were ALMOST free of alvls. hahaha went to bugis for lunch cum dinner and then walked around there for a while. it was the first time 7 of us went out tgt eh. hahaha wad an accomplishment.
today went to the museum with the 2 girls. my first time there leh. hahaha. took alot of photos and it was fun :) very tired now though.

okay i finished exactly half of the total number of papers i have to take. the horrible week is finally over. and i tell u it started badly cox u knw why?! let me tell u why. first paper is math paper1. okay so when the exam started i looked at q1, first reaction was HUH? haven't seen this type of qn before. tried to do abit but didnt knw wad i was doing. okay nvm, just skip. okay next q2, also nv see this type of qn before ! thought for a while but couldnt think of the method to approach the qn ! and the whole question is just one line, one expression and 5 marks! wah.
OKAY NVM, skip agn. q3 i knw how to do :) thankfully. or else i scared i cry. okay then on to q4, even worse than q1 cox i totally blank. dont even understand wad they talking about. and then i started panicking alr !! qn 1,2,4 dunno how to do !!! then the heart beat very fast somemore. but i think from q5 onwards i knw how to do most of the questions, except for tat crazy complex numbers qn.
oh but anw after i finished the rest of the questions i went back to the first page and thankfully i knew how to do q1 and 2 in the end, although i think got careless mistakes in between but at least will have method marks.
overall i think tat math paper1 was.. unexpected. and its definitely harder than the previous 2 years :(
gp compre was... i think some questions were quite weird but i did the qn on technology. i think it was okay? the compre passage was understandable but i think my AQ and summary suck:(
after gp was the mad rush to study bio. and i thought tat the bio paper was easier than last year although im still confused over the stupid neutral theory of evolution. oh and when they ask us to check if the number of printed pages was correct, i went to look at the essay questions. and it wasnt hard ! so relieved :) i actually had to spend some time deciding on which essay question to write (this nv happened before because there was always a question tat i felt tat i was more confident at) but decided on the neurone question cox the enzyme question got one part on pH which was 8 marks and i didnt have much to write. so glad tat the essay questions werent hard but i felt tat the evolution and telomerase qn was abit... idk la.
as for chem p3, i totally screwed up qn1. started doing the questions from the back so in the end i was deciding between qn1 or 3 as my last question. and i couldnt decide ! just waste time looking at the questions and trying to come to a conclusion only :( then in the end decided on the proteins question and my first part was just like a bio essay. screwed up tat qn cox i very gan chiong cox not much time left. made a very very careless mistake, is those type can just go and bang the head on the wall tat kind. oh and i think the paper was harder than last year's
so after the scary math paper1, i prayed and hoped tat paper2 would be easier. and ya it was easier but u knw wad, i careless. careless. haiz lose alot of marks like tat leh :( and since the paper was easier, alot of ppl would score well so i very scared ! really really want to get A for math
ohwell, tats all for the first week, gp and math are over:) now for econs.but i dont like to study for econs cox i think its so tedious :(

today i read the evolution notes agn and i feel like banging my head on the wall. even though i read it not long ago, i cant seem to rmbr much. haiz :( someone explain to me how to answer the question "explain the difference between classification and phylogeny" or smth along tat line. tell me what to say cox i really dont knw. tell me why evolution, and alot of other bio topics are like tat. why just cannot go into the head. i cant stand bio. tell me whether i can get A for bio
anw, its just two days left. TWO days to the start. i have waited for 2 years for this and now its down to two days. wow. should i be happy or not. i want it to be over quickly (who doesnt) but yet i dont feel prepared. and the worse thing is, i got no mood to study. look at the bio notes alr then sian. look at math and then i will think "wah sian so many questions, dont want to do la" chem is like.. someone help me clear my doubts bout bonding and polar molecules please.
studied with mana and shawn last week and we talked bout the old times.the times where we did random things, how we always "compete" with each other over results and class position, okay and we even said tat we miss being the top few in class. HAHAHA. but its amazing how we can compete with each other so intensely academically but still remain as good frens :) sometimes when u think back, u wonder why is it tat i was complaining so much last time when it wasnt exactly tat difficult. but then agn, humans are like tat. we're complaining so much bout alvls now, but uni will be tough too right.
a's is starting soon and once it start, its will end. looking forward to 3dec, looking forward to the 8months of fun, but... will u miss school life?
i'll miss all of u, even though we are not close, but i'll still miss you all. i'll miss all the funny, weird, silent moments we had too:)

last friday was farewell assembly! the performance was okay but the emcee very lousy eh. the last ct session was just about distributing things and taking photos.definitely not a class tat likes to camwhore because the number of class photos we have are... pathetic. but overall i think the people are nice :)

bio got moderation of 5 marks ! :):):) happy leh. ya la i knw moderation doesnt mean alot cox is just GIVING marks to console us but then hor, can jump one grade so i very happy. even though we all knw it is the actual marks tat determines our standard but then im still happy. my paper3 the STQ fail very badly but then i quite surprised i passed the essay :) still got the word "good" there leh. hahahaa just let me haolian once okay.

ytd during chem lecture, someone (i think is aly) told me that this was our last chem lecture for fri. so fast! next week will be the last week of official lessons alr. quite sad but happy also because i dont really like my timetable except for fridays.
the good news ytd was tat gp got moderation of 6 marks. yay cox i jumped a grade. but then, as what my fren (not frm vj) said, moderation also no use cox in our hearts we knw our gp standard is just very very bad. moderation just make the grade look nicer on the results slip. but hor, i wonder why there is moderation for EVERY gp exam.and my class ALWAYS get a moderation of the min marks leh..so sad. but then also not much diff.
tuition today was cancelled so didn meet up with them for dinner :(

saturday went out with phyllis tay but then didnt bring camera so got no photos. sitting at macs, gossiping, trying to connect to facebook and trying to help me recall pri sch ppl but sorry i really think my memory is really bad.and tat girl just didnt wear her heels cox she knw i shorter than her. haha. didnt really have to mood to shop cox i was really tired cox the previous night talk to plk on the phone very long.
headed to tuition after tat and got so many ppl didnt knw tat 85 was closed for painting den they all just made a wasted trip. haha!
sunday was spent with chongning who is always so excited about going taiwan. haha i think we since sec4 alr say want to go but always just say no action. next year must go tgt okay! and tat girl always try to act so polite with me but come on, we are frens since kindergarten, dont need to like tat okay! lol. the girl just couldnt decide on which clothes to buy and we spent so long in the fitting room!
eh if u are reading this, i just realised tat everything we said in the fitting room could be heard by the sales girl outside leh ! i bet she was secretly laughing at us hahahaha. and hor i think she scared tat we will try to steal the clothing. anw, i found a new way to help that girl save money, and tat is ... "if u wear this hor, i will discriminate u!" haha but anw she still spend alot of money and den our dinner had to be very budget. so we ended up at superdog, eating the cheapest 3.90 meal tat they have. the ppl at the table next to us were commenting bout ahs so got free entertainment. played soduku to kill time on the train but sadly i lost to her.
nice me agreed to walk her to her bus stop because she no concession but then hor i think it was just a waste of time. haha
orchard agn today but with aly and gen. i woke up the latest today but then hor, i reached the earliest leh. tsk. walked the same places agn today but today more tiring. and the genevieve is just so fierce next time i dont want go shopping with her already.
tmr marks the last day to play before the results come. and lynn just told me tat get E and below need to go remedial (according to her senior). and tat means i sure need to go for almost every subj. saddd |

its finally over ! but then hor, i think we were more excited about it being over before the last paper, as compared to when it was REALLY over. why leh? dont knw.
i wanted to write letter to germaine lok on thur but then hor, i slacked through alot of the day and when i started doing the 07 bio mcq paper at like 10plus, the first four questions i do all wrong. wah, then suddenly very panicky. so in the end no letter to germaine but received letter instead :)
anw, the whole prelims is.. harder than expected. esp bio :( these two weeks was crazy, every morning in the bus will see everyone studying the notes, just like last time in ahs
anw, met up with germaine after so so so long and i think is her fault cox i long ago ask her when she free but she just dont want to find a common day. haha okay la just kidding. i knw u reading this. thanks for the treat ! love you so much:) and then we saw alot of familiar ppl. they all just come one after another. hahaha . and i realised we ate alot of fried food.
only got 4 days to play. one down, 3days left. |

i have been neglecting this space for quite some time. gp prelim is tmr, feel so unprepared. wanted to read some essays but i fell asleep so in the end started one hour late. and piano lessons seem so regular these days. haha and i actually sat down and practice the piano for one whole hour last weekend. unbelievable. i just cant wait for the exam to be over. but come to think of it, this is my tenth year playing the piano. must celebrate leh. haha. the most memorable thing to have my dinner outside the room every tue cox no time to go home and eat. so sad hor.
ohwell, its supposed to be intensive mugging now but just cant seem to bring myself to do it.shall update after prelims!
